At Livestock Merchant, we specialise in supplying bulky and heavy livestock handling equipment. Because of the unique nature of our products, shipping is not one-size-fits-all. Below you will find important information about how shipping is handled for your order.

1. Domestic Shipping – Australia Only

  • We ship Australia-wide only. International shipping is not available.

  • Shipping costs are calculated on a case-by-case basis depending on:

    • The product or brand purchased.

    • The size and weight of the item(s).

    • The customer’s delivery location.

  • We recommend contacting us for a free shipping quote before placing your order.

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable.

2. Delivery Options

  • Direct Delivery: Orders can be shipped directly to your nominated address.

  • Depot Collection: To help reduce costs, we can also ship to one of 190 Big Post depots across Australia. Customers may then collect their items from the depot at their convenience.

3. Freight Partners

  • We use Big Post freight brokerage services to access competitive rates and reliable delivery for bulky items.

  • Because of the large and heavy nature of our products, delivery times will vary depending on your location and the supplier’s dispatch point. Our team will provide an estimated timeframe when you request your shipping quote.

4. Processing & Handling

  • Orders are typically processed within 2 business days of payment confirmation.

  • Once your shipping method is confirmed, we will provide you with a freight booking and tracking details.

5. Damaged or Lost Shipments

  • If your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photos of the packaging and item.

  • In the rare event of lost freight, please notify us immediately so we can open an inquiry with Big Post or the carrier.

6. Address Accuracy

  • Please ensure your delivery details are correct at the time of order. Incorrect or incomplete addresses may result in delays or additional re-delivery charges.
