Thunderbird 200km Energiser for When You're Running a Lot of Country

If you've got a big operation and need an energiser that can genuinely keep up, the Thunderbird MB-2750R is worth a serious look. Packing 27.8 stored joules and covering up to 200km of fence line, this is a unit built for farmers who can't afford gaps in their fencing. It runs on mains or battery straight out of the box, with both a 12V lead and AC adapter included so you're not waiting around to get it going.

A Thunderbird 200km Energiser That Works in Remote Locations Too

Not every paddock is close to a power point, and the MB-2750R handles that well. Hook up an optional solar kit (compatible with a 240-watt panel) to keep your external battery charged and the fence running without needing mains power. It's a practical setup for those more remote corners of the property where running power isn't an option.

All Your Fence Information in One Place

The digital display on the MB-2750R shows output voltage, earth condition, joules, and amps all at once. There's no toggling between screens or guessing what's going on out on the line. Everything you need to know is right there in front of you, which means less time troubleshooting and more time getting on with the job.

The built-in earth monitor keeps a constant check on your earth system so you can catch any issues before they turn into a bigger problem.

Your Thunderbird 200km Energiser Adjusts to What the Fence Needs

The auto power boost function takes care of itself. When your fence needs more energy, whether that's from weed load or changing conditions, it responds automatically without you having to step in. You've also got three power levels to choose from (low, medium, and high, up to 9.9kV) and 13 pulse speed settings ranging from 1.2 to 2.4 seconds, giving you the flexibility to tune the unit to your specific fencing setup.

If the voltage on your fence drops below what you've set, the built-in alarm will trigger the internal buzzer to let you know. You can set that threshold anywhere between 2 and 6kV, so you decide what counts as a problem worth knowing about.

Built to Handle Whatever the Weather Throws at It

The MB-2750R comes in a tough enclosure with an O-ring seal to keep moisture and dust out. It's designed to live outside and keep working, not to be packed away every time conditions get rough.

Turn It On and Off Without Leaving the Shed

The MB-2750R is remote ready. Add the optional ERC-2 remote and you can switch the unit on or off and read the voltage digitally without walking out to it. With a no-load voltage of 8.8kV and 6.9kV at 100 ohms, you've got strong, reliable output across a serious stretch of fence.

If the battery starts running low, the auto battery save function handles it automatically by dropping the output to low and pushing the pulse rate to maximum, stretching the remaining battery life as far as it can go.
